Because the only good house is a big house, it seems. No matter neighborhood characteristics. No matter that the Specific Plan for the Glens was developed with an eye to safe ingress and egress. No matter that our Fire Chief spoke out in the meeting (odd that wasn't reported) saying that she does not support increasing house sizes on small lots in the Glens and that she would not send her crews into a conflagration there. Woodside Council will always listen to the loudest voices. The lack of leadership is astonishing.

@Neighbor: I must call you out on your false statement regarding the Fire Chief.

By saying "she" in reference to the "Fire Chief" I assume you mean Denise Enea who is the WFPD Fire Marshall. Ms. Enea wasn't even in the room on Tuesday night!

A resident of the Glens stated that WFPD would not come into the Glens in a fire due to the risk of being trapped - but that is a VERY LONG WAY from a "Fire Chief" making the statements you have claimed.

I sat in the audience all evening - by the way why in the world did the Town Council have both garbage and the Glens on the same agenda - who's horrible idea was that?

Your claim is really misleading. Shame on you.
