Amid burglary concerns, Woodside will install license plate readers in town

Twenty license plate readers will be installed around Woodside despite concerns from some residents that the amount of crime in town does not warrant the privacy they'll lose by installing the readers.

I’m very glad to see our town join with neighboring towns to run this experiment. Hope these camera systems succeed by helping to deter crime and assist the police in apprehending suspects and recovering stolen property.
