What a local treasure this field will be for kids and families of Atherton and Menlo Park. Thanks to all involved in making Home Field at Willie Mays Ballpark a reality. Saturday’s ceremony was wonderful!
Congratulations to the Little League volunteers, our Town leadership who supported this project (Mayor Degolia, Councilmember Lewis, and Councilmember Wiest), and the thousands of children and families who will enjoy it for generations to come. As all of the speakers said, it is truly beautiful and an amazing tribute to our very own Willie Mays. Everyone who fought the good fight to get this done should be very proud.
