Los Altos, Palo Alto outpace county in assessed property value growth
Santa Clara County’s taxable property base hit a record $760.1 billion, with Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Palo Alto leading Midpeninsula growth while Mountain View posted one of the county’s slowest gains.
Property values rise in San Mateo County
The San Mateo County assessor’s office announced July 6 that the assessed value of San Mateo County climbed to a record $357.6 billion, or 4.85% more than last year’s assessed value. That’s roughly in line with last year’s growth rate.Â
