The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office arrested one driver for driving under the influence of alcohol during a DUI checkpoint in Woodside last weekend.

San Mateo County District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe announced Monday, Dec. 16, that his office would not file charges against Carlos Tapia, president of the Deputy Sheriff’s Association who was arrested on felony charges in November by Sheriff Christina Corpus.
