Indian goddesses are invading the Atherton Library. Docent Annamma Spudich is bringing a free program from the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16. Using slides of “Fierce Warriors and Benevolent Mothers,” Ms. Spudich will talk about women in Indian mythology and society, in honor of Women’s History Month. The library is located at 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane, behind the Atherton Town Council Chambers. For information, call 328-2422.

Award-winning Menlo-Atherton Dance Team will present its third annual show at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, in the new practice gym on the M-A campus. Among the dance team members are Andrea Rivera, Sara Martineau, Sarah Hausman, Lauren Camarillo, Abigail Feiler, Coach Nona Ybarra, Kimi Kitada, Julia Cabral, Allie Brody, Rachel Bowley, Kara Alter, Lauren Marcus and Sofia Stoller. Tickets are $6 for students, $8 for general admission.
