Choosing the top photos of 2007 proved to be no easy task. How does one go about selecting only a handful of images that capture the spirit and emotions of the people of our communities, be visually interesting, and yet summarize the events of a whole year?
I have chosen these images because I feel they reflect the amazing people and events I was fortunate enough to encounter every day. From the farm hand in the fields picking green beans at Webb Ranch, to cellist David Requiro passionately performing a piece for students at Hillview Middle School, to the group of first-graders chattering away as they all wait to catch the bus after school — they were all wonderful little moments I was lucky enough to capture with my camera and share with you.
Here are just some of the many people I was able to photograph this year.
