Sacred Heart Preparatory graduated 145 students May 25 during the 114th commencement ceremony on the Sacred Heart Schools campus in Atherton.
Presenting the diplomas were Richard A. Dioli, director of schools; Anne Holloway, board of trustees chair; James Everitt, Sacred Heart Preparatory principal; Brian Bell, dean of students; Ken Thompson, academic dean; and Karen Filice, assistant principal, academic life.
Valedictorian was Andrew Liotta, who is planning to attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fall. Salutatorian was Daniel Clancy, who is enrolled at the University of Southern California.
From this year’s graduating class, the National Merit Scholarship Program recognized 28 students, and honored four as finalists. Six students were named National Hispanic Scholars.
For the sixth consecutive academic year, Sacred Heart Schools will send at least a dozen student athletes on to play sports in college.
