The votes are in and it was decided the Sarwal family of Portola Valley had the most to celebrate following the conclusion of the Alpine Hills Junior Fall Classic on Thursday.

Richie Sarwal, who won a 16 Challenger last November, added a singles title to his doubles title (won with younger brother Reuben on Wednesday) in the 16U age group.

Reuben also played doubles in the 14U division and reached the championship match with partner Scott Evans, also of Portola Valley, before losing to the Menlo Park duo of Michael Boggs and Cameron Kirkpatrick.

Richie Sarwal, a sophomore at Menlo-Atherton High, beat Bears’ teammate Zeke Brown, 6-3, 6-4, in the championship final.

Ruth Sarwal competed in the girls’ 14 singles tournament but a first-round loss put her on the sidelines early.

Stanford resident Jake Chua-Gozani was a runner-up in each of the boy’s 12 singles and doubles finals. He was paired with Palo Alto’s William Borie in doubles.

Palo Alto’s Shiv Matta took home third place in the boys’ 12 division, beating Jonathan Chung to earn the trophy.

Palo Alto’s Paulette Wolak earned the third-place trophy in the girls’ 16 singles competition, beating Menlo Park’s Erin Laporte, 6-1, 6-2.

Palo Alto’s Aashi Budhiraja was awarded third place in the girls’ 14 division when her opponent withdrew because of an injury.
