Caltrain adjusted its timetable, starting Oct. 5, due to upcoming construction work along the rail corridor and the fact that trains are stopping longer at stations to accommodate larger crowds.

The changes include adding up to two minutes to all weekday and weekend trains because rail traffic through the San Mateo Bridge’s construction zone will be restricted to 30 miles per hour. The times on some midday trains will be shifted by up to 10 minutes.

Go to Caltrain.com/schedules for the new timetable.

Caltrain is increasing the price of one-way tickets and day passes at station ticket machines. One-way tickets may be purchased by using Clipper cards, saving 25 cents. Day passes will increase by 50 cents.
