Woodside: Skyline homicide suspect pleads not guilty, wants to defend himself


Double homicide suspect Malik Dosouqi, charged with murder in the stabbing deaths of two men on Skyline Boulevard last month, appeared in San Mateo County Superior Court today (July 8), pleaded not guilty, and filed paperwork with the court to represent himself, according to Assistant District Attorney Sean Gallagher.

Dosouqi is accused of killing Abdulmalek Nasher, a cab driver, and John Pekipaki,a tow truck driver, on June 17 and June 19, respectively.

In addition to two murder counts, Dosouqi is facing two counts each of use of a deadly weapon and infliction of great bodily injury, and one count of special circumstances for multiple murders.

A preliminary hearing in the case is set for July 18 at 9 a.m.
