The Alpine Menlo Pumas under-13 girls soccer team is looking to add one or two impact players for fall. Girls born after August 1, 1992, are invited to tryouts at Rossotti’s Field in Portola Valley during the team’s regular Tuesday or Thursday practice sessions this spring.

Last fall, the Pumas were the Clovis Challenge Cup champions. The coaches are Cris Gilmore, former assistant women’s coach and interim head coach at San Jose State University, and Christina Bell Gilmore, who spent three seasons with the CyberRays and led Sonoma State to the NCAA Division II final four her sophomore season.
