Very interesting report on this event, thank you. I'm having trouble finding the documentary film "Join or Die" that was shown at the conference. A search in Google produces an opportunity to host a community film event, and claims that it is on some streaming services, but I don't find it on Amazon or Netflix when I search there directly. Anyone who can help with that, I'd appreciate it. In any case, at the event you report that Putnam says that "the chances of dying over the next year are cut in half by joining one group". Directionally correct to be sure, fascinating if the 50% claim is even close to right.
