The Menlo Park City Council has extended to March 16 the deadline to apply for a seat on the Planning Commission. Applications must be submitted to the city clerk’s office.

One application was received by the original February 15 deadline, but council members Nicholas Jellins, Lee Duboc and Mickie Winkler suggested extending the deadline. The seat was occupied by Matt Henry, who resigned in protest over possible cuts to programs in the Belle Haven area.
