Menlo Park’s new Menlo Children’s Center will be open to the public at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, April 29, at 11 a.m. Tours of the center will be held until 1 p.m. The city’s preschool and after-school programs will be housed in the building, which served for years as the police station and was recently renovated in a $3.4 million project. It’s located at the Civic Center, between Laurel and Alma streets.
