Young athletes will participate in Special Olympics basketball games at Menlo College’s Haynes-Prim Pavilion on Tuesday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
This is the fourth year that the Atherton private college has hosted the Special Olympics, said college spokeswoman Cathy McDermott. Members of Menlo’s baseball and basketball teams will volunteer at the event. The community is invited to come and cheer on the youngsters, she said.
