Is there a geothermal solution to the United States’ need for clean energy? The public is invited to hear geophysicist Colin F. Williams discuss emerging technologies that may dramatically increase the opportunities for geothermal energy extraction in seven Western states.
The program starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in Conference Room A, Building 3, at the U.S. Geological Survey’s campus, 345 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park.
