Menlo-Atherton senior Jordan Mims, who led the Bears to the state championship football game in Division 3-AA in the fall, announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he has verbally committed to Fresno State.
Mims also received offers from San Jose State, Idaho, Eastern Washington and Sacramento State.
A first-team all-PAL running back, Mims rushed for 2,388 yards this season, scoring 29 touchdowns. He averaged 9.5 yards a carry.
Mims totaled 4,080 rushing yards during his three-year varsity career and added 687 receiving yards on 50 catches. He accumulated 5,490 all-purpose yards and scored 52 touchdowns.
Mims, who also runs track and field, will make it official on Feb. 1, national signing day.
