President Joe Biden will be in Portola Valley on Friday, May 10, to hold a fundraising reception for his reelection campaign, according to other media outlets.
The fundraiser will be held at the home of Vinod Khosla, a co-founder of Sun Microsystems and the founder of Khosla Ventures. Tickets to the event range in price between $6,600 and $100,000.
Khosla has given approximately $1.4 million to Democratic campaigns and organizations over the course of this election cycle, according to Federal Election Commission records.
This is not President Biden’s first visit to the area this year. He previous visited the Peninsula in February to attend a fundraising event in Los Altos Hills, hosted by housing developer Bob Klein, Danielle Guttman Klein and former state Controller Steve Westly.
As of publishing, it is not known when Biden will arrive in the Bay Area, or if he will attend any other events in the region.
