The hilltop campus of Canada College in Woodside will be the setting for the 17th Arts & Olive Festival on Sunday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All things olive will be featured in the annual festival, including a home- cured olive workshop by Don Landis and cooking demonstrations by Chef Steve Cortez. Local artists, musicians and dancers will entertain while vendors offer a variety of arts and crafts.

Face painting, arts and crafts, marionettes, a balloon artist, a storyteller and a juggler will entertain children in the Kids’ Corner. Live music and dance troupes will perform throughout the day and food will be available for purchase.

There are 350 olive trees growing on the Canada College campus, which was known many years ago as the olive orchard.
