The San Mateo County History Museum will present Norm Colman, who will portray the life and times of baseball legend Ty Cobb at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, in Courtroom A of the museum, at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City.
Mr. Cobb, who lived in Atherton for many years, was in professional baseball from 1905 to 1928. Mr. Colman will describe his relationships with other stars including Babe Ruth and Lefty O’Doul.
The museum has an exhibit depicting baseball stars of the Peninsula that includes one of Ty Cobb’s baseball bats. The presentation is free with admission to the museum: $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and students.
