The show will run from April 16 through June 2, 2024, with a special reception on May 10 from 5 to 7 p.m., according to a news release.

Lazar, a photographer who has been exploring the medium since his teenage years, seeks to convey the essence of joy, gratitude, and awe through his imagery.

Originally from Los Angeles and holding degrees in the sciences, Lazar embarked on a professional photography journey in 2016. He moved to the Bay Area in 1976, where he has continued to engage in various forms of artistic expression.

The exhibition will be accessible from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment at The Main Gallery, located at 883 Santa Cruz Avenue, Suite 1, in downtown Menlo Park.

Established in Redwood City in 2000 and relocated to Menlo Park in 2020, The Main Gallery has become a cornerstone of the local art scene. As a cooperative led by artists, the gallery is dedicated to presenting diverse and innovative works by some of the Bay Area’s finest talents. “Images of Joy” aligns with the gallery’s mission to enhance the community’s artistic experience by offering fresh perspectives and engaging art.
