The Center for Creativity is a community initiative to bring a dedicated arts center to San Mateo County, which would offer art classes, studio space, live events and exhibitions. The initiative is headed by a steering committee including members of ARTS RWC, the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation, Art Bias, the Redwood City Arts Commission and local civic leaders.
At an upcoming event, attendees can learn about findings from a feasibility study, connect with local art advocates, participate in creative activities, grab refreshments, and sign up for volunteer opportunities. Children are invited to take part in a supervised art project. Spanish translation service will be available.
