Palo Alto Jazz Alliance (PAJA), a longtime nonprofit group of local jazz enthusiasts promoting music education, appreciation and community, is presenting a free, community concert Saturday in Palo Alto’s Rinconada Park, performed by Washington’s Mountlake Terrace High School’s nationally recognized Jazz Ensemble 1. Bringing chairs, blankets, and refreshments is encouraged. The ensemble will be attending a clinic at Stanford earlier in the day, according to PAJA’s website.

“Our PAJA board is thrilled to present this fantastic musical treat to you and to support music education, which happen to be PAJA’s guiding principles,” PAJA’s website states.
