New Orleans-raised, Bay Area-based jazz vocalist Kenny Washington has been called “the Superman of the Bay Area jazz scene” by the San Francisco Chronicle. He’s played at Lincoln Center, Monterey Jazz Festival and appeared as a featured vocalist on the Grammy Award-winning album by The Pacific Mambo Orchestra.
Known for his soulful interpretations and skill at scatting, he’ll perform in Palo Alto, along with the Michael O’Neil Trio, at Meyhouse’s jazz night.
