Nobuntu (Zanele Manhenga, Thandeka Moyo, Duduzile Sibanda and Joyline Sibanda) is a quartet from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, that performs a mix of traditional and contemporary Zimbabwean songs, Afro jazz and gospel.

The long-running group has released three albums, won regional and national awards and comes to Stanford as part of their current U.S. tour. Listeners can expect strong vocals accompanied by minimalistic percussion, traditional instruments and dance movements. The ensemble’s name, according to Stanford Live, is “an expression meaning feminine familial love, humility, and kindness.”
