Anne Schwarzkopf
Following a lengthy illness, Anne Schwarzkopf of Menlo Park died February 2 at age 57. She was with her longtime companion, Raymond Kortan.Ms. Schwarzkopf was born in New Rochelle, New York, grew up in Connecticut, and was a graduate of William Smith College in Geneva, New York.
For more than 25 years she was a research assistant in cardiovascular medicine at the Stanford University Medical Center. She enjoyed travel, music, discovering new vineyards, and sharing dining experiences with her circle of friends, say family members.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Schwarzkopf of Winchester, Massachusetts; sister Janet Falkenstein of Lexington, Massachusetts; and her companion, Raymond Kortan of Menlo Park.

Dorothy Hall
Dorothy Maria Hall, who had lived in Menlo Park since the 1940s, died February 6 at age 91.Ms. Hall was born in Berkeley and graduated in 1936 from U.C. Berkeley, where she was a member of Theta Upsilon Sorority. After graduation she was employed for almost 40 years by the Pacific Bell Telephone Co. until retiring to care for her elderly father.
Ms. Hall was an active member of the Palo Alto Unity Church for many years, as well as the Eastern Star, Palo Alto Cultural Center, Little House, Save the Redwoods League, and the American Association of University Women.
There are no survivors. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Spangler Mortuaries.
Ken Miller
Ken “Kenny” Miller, who lived most of his adult life in Menlo Park, died February 9 in Hayward. He was 81.Mr. Miller was a veteran of World War II and a certified official of the U.S. Lawn Tennis Association. He will be remembered for the many hours he spent hitting tennis balls on the Nealon Park courts in the 1970s, according to his friend Bill Russ of Menlo Park.
Mr. Miller is survived by two nephews, Brian and Barry Miller. At his request, no services were held.
