Nancy Greenbach of Atherton, a past federal executive for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), has been named one of Northwood University’s Distinguished Women of 2007. Ms. Greenbach is one of eight women to be recognized by Northwood University, a private university with residential campuses in Michigan, Florida and Texas.
Awards were to be presented Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dallas.
Ms. Greenbach began her career with HUD in 1963, progressing from intern to federal executive. She was the first woman in the southwest region to reach this level.
Ms. Greenbach has served in leadership roles with the Red Cross, the Holbrook-Palmer Park Foundation, Peninsula Volunteers, Atherton Dames and Women in the Senate and House (WISH).
