Theda Firschein, 93, a fixture in the local Jewish community and a lifelong librarian whose work included traveling in a bookmobile to bring literature to isolated communities, on May 18, 2025.

Rolla “Lovey” Del Sarto, 90, who rode horses and modeled in her youth and had a passion for animals and family, on March 23, 2025.

John Kay Campbell, 96, a 50-year Palo Alto resident who grew up in the Great Depression, served in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea, and had a deep interest in science and engineering, on May 14, 2025.

Jim Beer, 90, a civil engineer who oversaw the construction of bridges and rapid transit systems across the country, and later opened and ran The Coin Broker in Palo Alto, on May 19, 2025.
