New mural appears on Left Bank Brasserie in downtown Menlo Park

A colorful new mural depicting the French countryside has been installed on the Doyle Street facade of the Left Bank Brasserie in downtown Menlo Park.

The mural, entitled “Le Mont Rouge” was created by local artist Flo de Bretagne, who originally hails from Paris, France. Her upbringing in France inspired the images in the mural — the rolling hills of Provence, the small villages nestled among iconic red poppies and the majestic mountains of the Alps.

The mural, which was installed in June, was sponsored by Elevate Art Menlo Park, an organization working to bring public art to downtown Menlo Park to enhance the experience of visiting downtown. The volunteer-run organization was started by a group of Menlo Park residents.
