A traffic study associated with plans for homes and office space in Menlo Park’s Linfield Oaks neighborhood has been bumped from the February 28 City Council agenda.
The study is now scheduled to come before the council at its March 14 meeting, one week before the council considers the first project proposed for the neighborhood: building 56 homes at 110 and 175 Linfield Drive.
Some planning commissioners and residents have shown concern that the plans for homes on Linfield Drive and three other projects in the neighborhood — which include proposals for new homes and office space — will cause traffic congestion and overburden schools.
The Planning Commission will consider the Linfield Drive proposal at its March 13 meeting.
City awarded for recreation program
