Police are searching for witnesses of an incident in which a speeding black Ford Mustang reportedly sideswiped a car while illegally passing it, then lost control and crashed into a power pole at about 5 p.m. Saturday, March 25, on Bay Road between Harmon Drive and Marsh Road.
Power was out for several hours, but no one was injured, police said. The driver of the Mustang, a male, reportedly fled the scene.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call Officer Stan Szeto of the Menlo Park Police Department at 330-6300.
