Officer Ed Estrada of the Menlo Park Police Department was recently commended by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his efforts to corral drunken drivers.
Mr. Estrada arrested “over 70 intoxicated drivers” in 2005 and has made “over 40 arrests” so far in 2006, said Menlo Park police Sgt. Sharon Kaufman.
He was among California law enforcement officers honored by the state chapter of the organization at a dinner held in Sacramento on April 8.
