One project planned for Menlo Park’s Linfield Oaks neighborhood has been approved; now, two more are in the pipeline.
Draft environmental impact reports for two projects — a proposal for 33 homes at 75 Willow Road and the conversion of commercial space at 321 Middlefield Road to medical offices — are available for public comment until August 31.
The draft reports will be on file at the main library and the first floor of the administration building at the Civic Center. Send comments to dmchow@menlopark.org.
The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold public hearings on both reports at its July 31 meeting, at 7 p.m. in the council chambers.
The City Council, in March, approved a project in the same neighborhood for 56 detached homes at 110 and 175 Linfield Drive.
The project was approved despite opposition from neighbors, who have argued that development will increase traffic and overburden schools.
