To promote shopping, the Menlo Park Police Department won’t enforce time limits on downtown parking starting Saturday, Dec. 8, and running through Jan. 1, 2008, the department announced Tuesday.
The enforcement hiatus only involves overtime parking and not other restrictions, such as no parking in red zones and loading zones. Those restrictions will be still be enforced, the department said.
Overtime parking enforcement will resume Wednesday, Jan. 2.
