“Inside the PAL,” the local sports radio program on KCEA (89.1 FM) in Atherton, will focus on the Woodside Wildcats on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m.
The guest will be Jason Simpson, the Woodside High running back who was the Special Teams Player of the Year in the Peninsula Athletic League in 2007, says KCEA sports director John Mylod.
Simpson scored four touchdowns in Woodside’s 41-14 win over Sacramento last week.
Steve Nicolopolous, head coach at Woodside, will also be a guest, Mylod says.
The program will air an interview with Ed Buller, coach of the Oak Grove Eagles, the defending Open Division Champions, and broadcast highlights of South San Francisco’s win over Carlmont and M-A’s shutout of Saratoga.
“Inside the PAL” airs every Wednesday night from 7 to 9 p.m.
KCEA will broadcast the “game of the week”: Woodside vs. Oak Grove on Friday, Sept. 15, with the pre-game starting at 6:45 p.m. and kickoff is at 7 p.m.
