Four more men have been arrested in the continuing FBI and police action against the East Palo Alto-based “Taliban” gang, following 42 previous arrests, Cherise Brandell, acting public information officer of the Menlo Park Police Department, has announced.

Muhammed Yahya, 20, of San Jose, Willie Seals III, 20, of Santa Clara, Roy Richard, 31, of East Palo Alto and Leroy Richard, 32, of Menlo Park were arrested on charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to sell crack cocaine.

The four men had been named in federal indictments prior to the March 7 FBI and police action but were not arrested on Saturday and remained at large.

Four others named in federal indictments remain at large.

Some 500 FBI agents and local police executed 29 search and arrest warrants Saturday in an action that East Palo Alto Police Chief Ron Davis said “effectively dismantled” the Taliban gang.
