Sacred Heart Preparatory will graduate 126 students Friday, May 22, during the 111th commencement ceremony on the Sacred Heart Schools campus in Atherton.
Director of Schools Richard A. Dioli, Board of Trustees Co-Chair Anne Holloway, and Sacred Heart Prep Principal James B. Everitt will present the graduates with their diplomas.
Valedictorian is John Ceremsak, who will attend Dartmouth College in the fall. Salutatorian is Claudia Norton, who will attend Brown University in the fall.
The National Merit Scholarship Program recognized 24 students this year, four as finalists. One student was named a National Hispanic Scholar.
All 126 graduates will matriculate to colleges and universities throughout the United States, including: Boston College, Stanford, University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley, and USC, to name a few.
Sacred Heart Schools, located at 150 Valparaiso Ave. in Atherton, is a Roman Catholic, independent school for grades preschool through 12. SHS is made up of St. Joseph’s School of the Sacred Heart for grades preschool through 8 and Sacred Heart Preparatory for grades 9 through 12.
