Menlo College senior middle blocker Deborah Bekowies was named California Pacific Conference Co-Player of the Week after helping the Oaks win three matches last week.
Bekowies accumulated 39 kills and 10 blocks, finishing with a .464 hitting percentage, as she helped Menlo (7-0, 11-9) remained undefeated in conference play.
Bekowies leads the Cal Pac in kills (218) and hitting percentage (.349), while ranking fourth in total blocks (40).
Bekowies, an honorable mention All-American last year, is first on the Oaks’ career blocks list with 325. She is also Menlo’s career leader in kills (1,331) and block assists (172), and ranks second in solo blocks and third in hitting percentage.
Menlo travels to Mills College for a 7 p.m. first serve Friday and hosts Bethany on Saturday, also at 7 p.m., on Senior Night.
