To help create police-community partnerships, the Menlo Park community services and police departments are co-sponsoring a free “National Night Out” event at the Onetta Harris Community Center, 100 Terminal Ave. in Menlo Park, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3.
There will be carnival games, food, music and an open swim at Belle Haven Pool. For more information, call 330-2250.
