A celebration of the life of Christopher Clay Chandler will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Menlo School Athletic Center, 50 Valparaiso Ave., in Atherton.
The family requests no black clothing. Mr. Chandler died Sept. 30. He was 62.
Mr. Chandler was raised in Woodside and was a graduate of Woodside High School, where he was the first male cheerleader. He owned his own event planning business, ROI International. He enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, trains, walking, and playing with the family dog, Cammie, say family members.
He is survived by his wife, Jan; daughters Courtney, Brittany and Tyler; sisters Helene Williams and Tory Lillie, and brother Geoff Chandler.

My thoughts & prayers are with this family during this incredibly difficult time. I hope they are surrounded by loved ones who can bring them some measure of comfort.
