The Friends of Bedwell Bayfront Park invites the public to come to the park on Saturday, Jan. 12, and learn about the wintering birds there, including ducks, geese and egrets. A birding tour is set to run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., starting at the entrance road to the park, located at Marsh Road and Bayfront Expressway in Menlo Park.
Experienced birders will show close-up views of water and land birds. Families are welcome and people are urged to bring binoculars or look through a scope provided by the Friends.
Heavy rain will cancel the event.
