The Atherton Library staff has figured out how to make a good thing — an hour spent perusing a selection of staff’s favorite new books — even better: It’s pairing the Tuesday, Jan. 20, event with food and drinks, including a wine tasting by Beltramo’s Wine & Spirits of Menlo Park.
The free event will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Atherton Library, 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane. Featured books will include literary and popular fiction, mystery, graphic novels, essays and poetry — even baking. A professional Beltramo’s sommelier will pour West Coast varietals and provide tasting notes, along with light refreshments.
