Menlo Park resident Sadie Bartholomew Ingle recently received the Research Award from the Alumni Association of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio.
The award recognizes dedication and intellectual curiosity among its young alumni. She did her undergraduate work in chemistry and biochemistry at Otterbein, where she graduated in 2007, before receiving a doctoral degree in biochemistry at Stanford University.
She works on the research biology team of MyoKardia Inc. in South San Francisco, where she develops biochemical and cell-based assays.
