Vehicle traffic through Woodside on state Highway 84 (Woodside Road) will be subject to delays through August and September as the California Transportation Department repaves the 12-mile stretch between Interstate 280 and just west of Fox Hill Road — an intersection about 4 miles west of the junction with Portola Road.
Crews will be working during the day, and occasionally at night to minimize impacts to traffic, Woodside’s Town Engineer Sean Rose said in a message to town residents. Generally, work will be done one lane at a time, Mr. Rose said.
Caltrans is asking drivers to proceed with caution through construction zones.
