The Portola Valley Town Council is set to discuss and establish its priorities for the fiscal year that begins on July 1. The council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, in the Historic Schoolhouse at 765 Portola Road,.
Up for discussion are six possible priorities: housing, resident resiliency, strategic planning, community engagement, sustainability and the health of the town’s administration — using measures including fair treatment of everyone in Town Hall, staff satisfaction, transparency in government, and various initiatives to improve the workday experience in Town Hall.
Each priority includes several related projects and initiatives. “It is not anticipated that every project will be completed in the next (budget) year,” Town Manager Jeremy Dennis said in a staff report. “Rather, the list gives staff a range of areas to focus energies over the course of the year as time allows.”
