Today: Old La Honda Road closed to through traffic

Officials are asking anyone who does not live along Old La Honda Road to use another route for travel between Portola Road and Skyline Boulevard today (Nov. 9) due to emergency tree work that has closed the roadway.

A Pacific Gas & Electric crew is doing the emergency tree work, according to the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services.

The county’s statement did not include an estimate on how long the road will be closed to through traffic.
