How’s this for a time warp? ‘Rocky Horror’ at The Guild then and now

Just in time for Pride month, The Bawdy Caste is back at The Guild Theatre June 14 with a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The performance is part of the theater’s centennial series.

The shadow cast’s performances are a longstanding tradition at the theater. Although The Guild was renovated from a movie theater into a concert venue between 2019 and 2021, it continues to host Rocky Horror screenings with The Bawdy Caste several times a year.

Embarcadero Media visual journalist Magali Gauthier captured The Bawdy Caste performing at The Guild in 2019, prior to its renovation. Revisit Gauthier’s time spent with the group.
