The Woodside boys’ basketball team completed its regular season with a five-game winning streak, reaching a 16-8 record (9-1 in league play).
The team won both of its games last week, including by 69-47 over at M-A.
The M-A boys lost both games to drop to 14-11 (4-6).
Woodside finished tied for first in the Peninsula Athletic League (PAL) South Division, while M-A was tied for third.
On the girls’ side, M-A capped off a spectacular season with two impressive wins, raising its win streak to seven and its record to 21-4 (9-1), and first place in the PAL South. They earned the distinction by completely dismantling Woodside at home, 68-29. Woodside concluded a disappointing season and dropped to 6-12 (2-8), and fifth place in the PAL South.
