The Alpine Menlo Soccer Academy will hold a free clinic for prospective players, ages 6-8, at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 4, at Corte Madera Middle School in Portola Valley.

Soccer tryout for boys under 9
The Alpine Menlo Soccer Club is forming a new boys under-9 team for fall 2006. Tryouts will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 4, at Corte Madera Middle School in Portola Valley.Boys born August 1, 1996, or later are eligible to try out. The team will be part of the Alpine Menlo Soccer Club, which includes teams for boys and girls from under-9 to under-15, and an academy for younger players.

Tryouts for girls under 11
The Alpine Menlo Soccer Club’s Girls Under 11 team, the Grizzlies, is holding tryouts for the fall 2006 season. The team is looking for strong soccer players born after August 1, 1995.The team is coached by Cris Gilmore and Marie McCann and practices in Portola Valley.
